DESIGN
Luxurious soft fabrics are coordinated with antique bronze finishes and cherry furniture, featuring black oak details. Throughout Vail Mansion a respectful homage is paid to traditional Gilded Age opulence but updated for a modern lifestyle. The result is a welcome tonic for the nearly century old building.
CONTEXT
“…a smile at the past with eyes to the future, a historic mansion reinvents herself again…”
In a joint venture among Roseland Property Co. and Applied Development Co., historic Vail Mansion (built in 1918) will be redeveloped into the centerpiece of a new mixed-use site featuring luxury condominiums, gourmet dining and premiere resident amenities. This former residence of Theodore Vail, the very first president of AT & T, was used for over 75 years as a Town Hall for Morristown, NJ. and has been a cornerstone for the neighborhood for nearly a century.
